Amazing FeatsBy Ryan, September 14, 2006Okay, here are some interesting questions I’ve wondered in the past 24 hours. Three posts for the price of one!*
1.) How Simon Keizer Lost His iPod Video Interesting story. He says that even he doesn’t know for sure how he lost it, but it makes me think... is there any excuse to lose something that valuable? There is hardly anything more valuable to me than my iPod nano. I don’t know how I would get along without that thing by my side for more than an hour or two (unless I’m in class)! The things I value most, however, are my friends. They can get lost, too... to the evil hands of Satan. They are way too valuable to waste like that. 2.) How I Could Get Into Texas Tech Heh, heh, heh... I probably couldn’t. My parents wouldn’t let me go to Tech if my alternative is Oklahoma State, which is much cheaper for us. I’m just going to speak with their representative to get out of class (but don’t tell anyone). 3.) The Homecoming Thing (which is probably all you want to know about, anyway) I wish I knew exactly how this happened. The three girls in this story (Girl A, Girl B, and Girl C) could be scheming on me for something I said at church recently, but I can’t be too sure. Anyway, Girls A and C approached me today when I was headed to 4th period and asked if I wanted to take Ms. B. to homecoming. (I had no idea she even liked me!!) I said I’d think about it, which I actually did this time. Seriously, I haven’t had a girlfriend worth mentioning since elementary school level! I couldn’t not think about it, if you know what I mean. Do you think we ever get so caught up in what we want and how we can’t have it that we miss our opportunities to get it on a silver platter*? Something to think about there... And so concludes this post. I’ll be back later with more on this developing girl-related story. Reporting live, this is This Reporter.
