What Have I Done?

By Ryan, October 31, 2005

Do we ever fight for the sake of winning the argument?

Yes, we do. But I don’t think that you needed a special post to point that out for you. So why do I talk about it anyway? Because it’s still something we need help with.

I’m not perfect by any means in the world, but this is something I have struggled with for too long. Seriously, I really outdid myself here. I’ve been asking one of my friends/acquaintances/schoolmates/whatever to e-mail me since early September. I don’t even remember why I needed that e-mail so badly in the first place! I think that the e-mail itself had something to do with a poem I wrote, but I’m really not 100% sure anymore. And yet, it’s all I’ve been able to talk to her about since then. Not even so much as a polite “How was your day?” or a “How are you doing?” has come out of my mouth since two months ago.

I’ve been rude to someone who has never done anything remotely mean to me, and for what? A stupid poem?

I’m going to tell her tomorrow that she can just have the thing. I have fussed too long and too hard to even care anymore. Please... whatever you do, don’t be like myself and get into this position. It is not very fun.
